The Norman Foundation has no formal
application form. Prospective grantees are encouraged to initiate the
application process by sending a short two or three page letter of inquiry to
the Program Director. Please
see our Application Deadlines.
The Foundation only accepts full proposals upon positive response to the letter
of inquiry. The letter of inquiry should briefly explain:

All inquiries will be acknowledged and, if deemed promising, the Foundation will notify the prospective grantee what information should be provided in a full proposal. The Foundation accepts the National Network of Grantmakers common application form (www.nng.org).
Programs seeking funding must be tax exempt
and focused primarily on domestic issues. Prospective grantees who have
carefully reviewed the Foundation's guidelines and who still require assistance
may call the Foundation's staff.
